Just two weeks after school finished and almost everyone went home we started the sad yet exciting part of the summer, sending off missionaries. The first two missionaries of the summer leaving from the 50th ward group were Nathan Seeburger and Kyle Stubbs.
Monday
Nate got into Provo a few days before he entered the MTC so with the help of some stand in companions we got to spend a little time visiting and remembering. The first night some of us got together and just went to the multipurpose building, where we used to go to church and reminisced.

Rachel, Amy, and Jess's old apartment was open so we snuck in just long enough to take a picture...
or two.
We took a little time to look at the hymn books.

The undedicated chappel we spent a ton of time in, and where a ton of wonderful memories were made.
Jess andd Amy finally showed up, but we couldn't seem to manage a picture with all of us in it. (Ted is missing from this one)Tuesday
The second night we went to the Wyview mutltipurpose building again, but this time both Kyle and Nate were there so we got to see them for a little bit. As well as all of the 50th ward bishopric. We also had a chance to meet both boys moms, who were really sweet. Then Lindsey and I stayed the night at Jess, Amy and Rachel's apartment so we could all be ready for the temple on time in the morning.
No hugs for the missionaries!Wednesday
Wednesday morning before Nathan went into the MTC we took a trip to the Draper temple to do baptisms. Two of the boys that went with us baptized us which was really neat. It was a beautiful morning, and the temple wasn't very busy so we had a lovely time. It was the first time I had been in the temple since it was dedicated and it is amazing how much the spirit changes when it has been dedicated. After we finished in the temple we took some pictures, even though we were running late, and then we headed back to Provo to get Nate back to his mom on time. When we got back to Provo we went to Costa Vida for a delicious lunch and then we headed over to the MTC to say good bye to Nate. Kyle was also going in but we missed him. Nate was waiting for us though. So we just went over and took a few pictures outside of the MTC and then said good bye. It was a tough good bye because Nate and all of the girls that were there, me, Amy, Jessica, and Rachel, were in the same FHE family last year so it really did feel like we were saying good bye to a brother. But even though it was hard, it was so good to see him go because we all know that he is where he is supposed to be. And then Wednesday night I headed home to AZ, so my posts are a little out of order, because this happened before Mother's day weekend.
Our group minus Ted because he was taking the picture

Are you staying through the summer? Or are you headed back to AZ?
I am here for the summer. I decided to stay because I thought it would be easier to find a job, so far that hasn't worked out for me too well, but I haven't given up yet.
