President Uchtdorf's CES Fireside
The first Sunday in November, President Uchtdorf came to the Marriott Center and gave a fireside. It was a really great talk, especially when he would talk about his sweet wife. I love seeing the two of them together because they are so happy and so precious! Bridgit and I went to the fireside together and when we got there we ran into Smalls so he joined us. Then after the fireside we ran into a guy named Brigham, who we had met at a party the night before. Brigham is in an acapella group, and last year when I lived in Wyview his group came and serenaded my apartment so when we ran into him at the Halloween party that we went to I recognized him so then he promised that they would come and serenade us again sometime, so that night they came and sang us like three or four songs. It was really fun and more than one person asked Bridgit if she had gotten engaged that night!
BYU vs Air Force
Bridgit has an all sports pass as do some of her friends and roommates from last year. For the BYU vs Air Force game her friends weren't going so she got one of their tickets for me! It was really fun to get to go to a game again because I have missed being able to go to the football games this year. We had a fun time even though it was incredibly cold! That is why we looked so cute for the game because we were trying to stay as warm as possible!
Friends from Home!
Some of my friends from back home came to Provo for their friend Kina's wedding. Because the wedding was on Friday, they had a free Saturday night to spend with me! So Hannah, Kaylene, Kelsey, and Erica and I got together, as well as two guys that they all knew in high school but I didn't, one was Kina's brother and the other was one of their other friends, both of whom graduated the year before I moved to Mesa. Anyway we got together and played some Disney Scene-It (which Hannah and I dominated and killed everyone else at!) Then we talked for a while about the "good" times at Desert Ridge, and then we went and got some frozen yogurt at Yozone. After getting yogurt we went back to Kina's brother's apartment and watched The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Overall, we had a really fun night and it was great to get to reconnect a little bit with some old friends and make a few new ones.

Thanksgiving!
For Thanksgiving I was very lucky to discover that Bridgit was driving home, and then her and her parents were driving down to Mesa for a few days so it was an excellent way to get home for the holiday! Bridg and I had tons of fun on the drive down with music blasting for a while, then a book on tape for the rest of the way. Oh and lots of talking on the way! Luckily Meg got work off for Wednesday and Thursday of Thanksgiving week so she came home for the holiday as well, she also brought her roommate Lindsey with her because her family was gone for the week. Wednesday was spent with my mom at work waiting for Meg to get to town and then Meg and I played for a little bit. That night Meg and I watched the first Parent Trap. On Thursday Kent and Becky came down from Snowflake, Toshie and Cheiko, Kay and Connie came over from California and then our family and Belinda and Brock and RiAnne all got together at Belinda's Kitchen and had a deliciously wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. I am always amazed at the wonderful food that my family can make and the fun that we can have together!
