Back to School, Sisters and Crafting...

When I got back from Christmas break Kalli was in town for about another week, so, I was back to school and all that that brings (homework, quizzes, little free time...) and every night (unfortunately most of my days do end during the evening) when I got done Kierst and kalli would pick me up and we would play for about four or five hours...well they would play/craft, and I would play/do homework... and then they would take me home so that I could get some sleep in preparation for the next day. This is pretty much how it went Monday thru Wednesday, Thursday I got done slightly earlier so we met up with Ellen and the kids and got some frozen yogurt for like the second or third time that week (Kalli was wanting to try all the different places here in Provo) and just visited with Ellen for a while. Then we went and looked at baptism dresses for Lauren for a little bit and then left to go grocery shopping for me since I hadn't been since getting back from Christmas break. Then on Friday, I got done with class earlier than expected and I hurried home as fast as I could, got my stuff together, and went to spend the weekend with Kiersty and Kalli (and Seth). Friday night we went to Pleasant Grove and spend some time with the Bodines. We had dinner, played games, and just visited. Saturday we spent most of the day finishing up the crafts that we had been working on all week. Most of the crafts that we worked on are seen below. Kalli made onesies for Mhari and for one of her friends (with some help from Kiersty and I), Kiersty and Kalli finished the quilt that they started in September for baby Andrew, and Kiersty also made a boppy for Mhari. I helped a little with the onesies since I finally had a break from homework on Saturday. That night after everything was done, we went to the El Salvadorian restaurant that Kalli and Kiersty fell in love with years ago, on Center Street in Provo. Then we went to a dollar movie showing of 500 Days of Summer. I thought it was a pretty good movie, Kalli and Kiersty weren't as impressed by the story as I was but they still liked it I think. (this also included some more frozen yogurt) Then we went back to Kiersty's and Kalli worked on a headband as we had planned on most of the week but not yet had time for. Kiersty and I decided that we would just get together another day to work on our headbands (which we have now done, I will post pictures of them later) Then on Sunday we went up to Centerville to see Annie (Kalli's sister-in-law) talk in church, for her "I'm leaving for a mission" talk and then we spent the rest of Sunday with the Hale family. We had lots of food, lots of fun, and played a few games. (we also got to Skype with Steve, who was at Mhari and James' house so we got to see our adorable little nephew on the webcam!) Then Kiersty and I had to say goodbye to Kalli who was leaving the next morning, and we drove back to Provo so that we could prepare for the next week. It was so fun to spend time with my amazing sisters, the only sad thing was that we couldn't all be together...for that we are waiting for May, and in March Megan will be joining Kiersty and I for a few days so we are also looking forward to that! Until then, I just keep enjoying having Kiersty nearby...even though that is only for a little bit longer and then she is going to leave me to go to Lehi...but I can still see her since she will still be working at the Provo courthouse.

These are all of the onesies that we made over the week.
The turtle one is the one that I did...it was pretty fun, and they all turned out really cute!

The quilt that Kalli and Kiersty made for baby Andrew.

The boppy that Kiersty made for Mhari.

The only picture that we took of the three of us all week long! I guess we were too busy having fun with other things so finally right before we left the Hale's house we took this so that we would have at least one!

Thanks for all the updates. And for the cute crafts you helped with even if it was just in spirit on most of them. :-)
Can't wait for May. Love you!
